I’m a user-experience researcher, translator, and community engagement specialist. I research and teach UX research methods, technical communication, digital rhetorics, and translation. As part of this work, I also collaborate with businesses, community members, practitioners, researchers, and students to design and develop multilingual digital tools and technologies. I have experience working as a UX researcher at Meta (formerly Facebook) and conducting participatory design research with multilingual users in the US, Mexico,Guatemala, and Nepal.

My professional trajectory has been shaped by experiences learning English as a second language, and, perhaps even more emphatically, by mentoring students and professionals who navigate linguistic transitions in their daily communication. I seek to develop ethical and inclusive research projects that improve user experiences for all users.
